Help Rebuild the Four States

In the aftermath of Saturday's storms, we are asking for your help to provide some relief to the victims. In the parking lot of the Kissin 92.5 studios at 32nd and Texas, we have a tractor trailer donated by Conway Truckload and you can help rebuild the four states by filling it for the victims and volunteers! The list of items is below. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who are coping with the devastation of the violent and deadly storms. (The picture to the left is just some of the damage to Picher, OK.)
Trained Volunteers are needed at both The American Red Cross and Salvation Army. Please contact the American Red cross at 417-624-4411 or the Salvation Army at 417-624-4528 if you'd like to volunteer.
Items needed are: water, gatorade, non perishable food items (i.e., canned goods), crackers, peanut butter and jelly, nutritional bars, trail mix, pet food, coolers, diapers, baby formula, gloves, tarps, clothes, shoes, cleanup kits including shovels, rakes, household cleaners, trash bags, first aid kits, safety glasses, ear plugs, personal care items such as shampoo, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, chainsaws, chains, chainsaw bar oil, wheel barrow, generators, plastic storage containers, large plastic zip lock bags.
The items can be dropped off at 401 S Jackson the location of the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army at 8th & Kentucky in Joplin.
Shelters: Neosho Calvary Church at Hwy 60 and Oakridge and Miami First Christian Church (across from Wal-Mart) on North Main Street.
The American Red Cross is asking for your help in securing supplies for volunteer workers in the aftermath of Saturday's violent storms. All are appreciated as workers continue to help in the clean up and recovery effort. If you need assistance call 1-866-206-0256 or go to redcross.org
